Sarah Layzell Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Counselling, psychotherapy and supervision in Bath

Life getting on top of you?
Relationships getting you down?
Trying to get over trauma or sexual abuse?
Would you like space to explore your thoughts and feelings?
Some help to get back on track again?

While the coronavirus restrictions are in place, I'm offering new clients telephone or online sessions using a free, safe platform called VSee. I have training and experience in working in these ways.

Counselling can help. My name is Sarah Layzell and I've been working as a counsellor & psychotherapist since 1998. I also work as a supervisor and can support your own therapy practice.

I see people both for one-to-one and couples counselling. I worked for many years as a University counsellor so am experienced working with young people as well as adults; I welcome older people, too. I enjoy working with counselling students and offer a concessionary rate. My approach is integrative and person-centred, drawing on existential and mindfulness-based approaches as well as CBT and ACT. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I am accredited by the BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework.

Supervision: I have a Diploma in Supervision awarded by CSTD Bath .
